What were you hoping it would be?
Thank you for the chapter, and I'm glad series best girl has finally made her debut in this chapter. I will be somewhat disappointed having read several chapters of Normalcy and Monsters if at least one of the girls don't try to put a ring on that finger by the end of the arc... and considering she has at least 3 hands they have plenty to choose from. Now is it just me or is that up until this chapter whenever the term false god was used it was always singular or mono as in there was only one false god so is this the first time its been used in the plural sense as in there are several of these... beings? Now the question is The Censor a manifested false god or merely a higher tier servant? The impression from these reveals I get is someone either a false god or a higher tier servant is either trying to keep the prez from evolving evidently because the info that she is being deprived of could put her that much closer and we have a case a false god wanting to keep her alive because she's so close while this other variable is trying to keep this from happening. Or based on her observations this chapter we are dealing with an antagonist that really close to achieving false godhood and it worried prez could somehow if she figures out to much could interfere with it and something is using the prez via the respawns as a way to keep trying to prevent that from happening. In either scenario its clear there's a third faction interested in keeping the prez alive while another one wants to keep her ignorant.
As for this reveal, honestly part of it makes sense loneliness has been a constant big theme throughout this series. Even one of the two primary ways to get out of the town other then aging out of it involves removing someone from your life and decreasing your amount of social ties you essentially have to be lonelier to some degree in order to leave.
Based on this possibly spector's title of censor... it got me thinking is there any chance she could have originally been the writer's assistant or editor? After all isn't censoring just another form of editing or proofreading someone's writing?
