I'm surprised they didn't mention any way of securing themselves to Nue after landing. I have to imagine that — being a living creature — ignoring the possibility of it shifting around when it feels something land on its back, that it would be nowhere near as flat/stable as an aircraft carrier.

I mean Richard Marcinko (the protagonist of that Rogue Warrior kusoge, who wrote his own dialogue) is somehow a real person. Dude was even part of SEAL Team 6 and the IRL version of MGS2's Dead Cell.

I think the 70~100 km range is based on air target where it shoot down planes.

Although, the rule works both ways, so naval ships using guns probably would also need to be close enough to be within shooting range.
