I'm surprised they didn't mention any way of securing themselves to Nue after landing. I have to imagine that — being a living creature — ignoring the possibility of it shifting around when it feels something land on its back, that it would be nowhere near as flat/stable as an aircraft carrier.

Too hot-headed for SF, no? But eh, what do I know.
I mean Richard Marcinko (the protagonist of that Rogue Warrior kusoge, who wrote his own dialogue) is somehow a real person. :aquadrink: Dude was even part of SEAL Team 6 and the IRL version of MGS2's Dead Cell.
I'd hope they get their shit together for the actual operation, though.

Physically, the feeling of those tiny humans landing on its back probably is ignorable as long as they don’t touch sensitive parts like the gills or the barbels.
Nue currently has magical "quantum particles" that can rewrite the laws of physics (as the scientists that spoke of antigravity said). They basically work off plot power, until it dies and it can be studied.
I think the 70~100 km range is based on air target where it shoot down planes.

Although, the rule works both ways, so naval ships using guns probably would also need to be close enough to be within shooting range.
