I like this short story a lot. The annoying cat behavior, but also the slight annoying cat owner behavior too.
I hate the grotesque idea of animal murder out of perceived jealously. The general stalking in the background of just trying to use the toilet too. But I like the odd outcome and symbolism of what is usually 'the beheaded snake still can bite" (instead it's the cats severed head biting the snake).
