I mean, much better gear both swords and armor making them able to take and deal much more damage. Plentiful food for energy, mixed with healing effects. Potions to instantly heal wounds.
This combo lets them fight with little to no fear of death. And most importantly raises moral to the max. They already were plenty strong and in a fort to begin with, there is a reason the demons brought so many forces. But remember the rules of war, you need 2x the force to take a fort compared to defending it. These are veteran soldiers vs a force 3x their size. Its a rather balanced battle to begin with. Factor in that the demon side is using undisciplined forces like the goblins and orcs. Goblins are also much weaker than humans and probably a large part of the numbers. The fort is also well set up using terrain and nullifying much of the numbers advantage. In the end the demons brought the forces they needed in normal conditions, so unexpected factors would ruin their plans.

Geological (Geology) is the study of minerals and is closely related to metallurgy (engineering discipline of metal alloys), volcanology (study of volcanoes, geysers) and seismology (study of tectonic movements and earthquakes). Geographical (Geography), however, refers to land features such as cliffs, mesas, plateaus, hills, mountains, and so on. It can also refer to man-made and political features, like the locations of cities and bases and the boundaries of states and nations.

In short, you want "Geographical", and not "Geological".

Not that it was every really all that good, but the story telling in these later chapters has fallen off rather hard.

NGL I enjoyed this more when it was just a farmer and his dog. Sure it would have been an unsustainable SoL, but it would have been infinity better then whatever this has become.

Kinda annoying how much the Duchy's being forced on him, feels like even when this is all over it's primarily gonna be "oh look, the Duchy's my territory now so I'm gonna be based here", rather than the whole, y'know, farming slow life village building thing it started out as.

Obviously this isn't the only series that's done the "no more slow life" development, but if he's being moved to not even developing his own land he was making anymore, that sucks lmao.

@Milanin The enemy complains about two specific things: that they keep reviving after being vanquished (MC's elixirs) and that their weapons are much stronger now (MC's magic steel).

Industrial revolution is very much anti-thesis of what is going on now. If you need a person = craftsmanship; if anyone can produce "the thing" = manufacture.

If manufacture > craft then you start whispers of industrial revolution. If manufacture can outpace and outdo crafts, and can provide "a lot" of produce... that's when it is industrial (well, forgetting all about transporting said produce)
