an anime might actually do this series good if they can capture its vibe correctly. i can imagine the art and music being really beautiful. at the same time it doesn't have much of a plot progression and it feels like not enough happens for a 12 episode series but... it'll certainly be interesting.

it feels like an arthouse film at times, the way it cuts off conversations; which are also very naturalistic and just kind of all over the place; and the continuity is kinda floaty. It invokes this sense of wistful dreamlike nostalgia, like these are old memories of a special time.
