So not only do we have a pageant arc, we've got a villainous group working behind the scenes... last time I saw this combination of annoying tropes was in Aren’t You Too Sweet Salt-God Sato-San? and everybody in the comments wanted that arc to die the bloodiest death. So, here's hoping, and I mean REALLY HOPING, that this arc is handled well enough and doesn't drive us all insane. This is a genuinely fun series, I don't want to see it burn to the ground because of one tropey arc.
