Yeah I think so too, a reversal of fortune kingdom building, sort of a slaves to power civilization type manga minus the usual isekai wouldve been good (like that goblin isekai one with the glasses). The twist at the end kinda pigeon holes it into more short term court intrigue and is gonna make it a lot more difficult to make it good... and to survive in jump. though kingdom building would also have it rough in jump.
The lifespan disparity and societal adaptability topics that got introduced are going to be important and i was looking forward to it more on the previous course it was hinting at the start than the way its unfolding at the end. Not sure how the elves are supposed to meaningfully change in the timespan of this manga given what we've been told about them unless it goes multigenerational. Either way I hope it gets addressed in a satisfying way.
