I read two volumes but it's not really that ahead from this part. Situation is still the same


MC says he likes pretty girl, but his actions say he actually likes Amari.


Amari likes MC but lies about liking basketball man.


Pretty girl likes MC and suspects that Amari likes MC.


Basketball man is irrelevant. He's all about basketball.

Sadly with how this genre works, the chance of Yua winning is basically 0. It does seem like she likes the MC, and might have even liked him to begin with, which means they mutually liked each other...but every single time, the new girl that pops up is the one who wins, with VERY few exceptions...which is a shame because I personally prefer Yua.

It wouldn’t be that big an issue, if this manga didn’t release one chapter every 2nd full moon.

I’ve read the two light novel volumes currently available, and honestly I think Yua and Fukusuke should end up together. Right now they clearly have mutual feelings, so that pairing just feels the most natural.


It would also get pretty messy if Amari ended up with the MC, especially since she already knows how both her best friend and Fukusuke feel about each other. Because of that, I feel like Amari and Fukusuke are better off staying friends rather than their relationship turning romantic.


If Amari does end up with someone, I think Fujisaki (the basketball friend) would make more sense. That way the relationships don’t become unnecessarily complicated.
