she is gloomy it doesnt change that she is kinda gloomy when people looking at her from outside. she is eating alone in the stairs of rooftop and probably kinda introverted too (most people assume introvert = gloomy but thats not true).

Mc isn't too simpy and I don't really get how he's not very sociable considering he talks pretty well to everyone except for Kureha or whatever that popular girls name is.
He's just way too assuming of things due to his low self esteem and silly self comparisons with his best friend lol, it's his best friend and should he able to confide with any troubles he's having with him but for plots sake it'll take a dozen chapters for him to realize he's valued amongst his peers and he's really caught the eyes of the girls.
I'm predicting his best friend really cherishes the mc and willingly helps popular girl with mc despite his own feelings or he's just a sports head and focusing on a dream or sumn.

Honestly I feel like dropping this for the simple fact that I hate these kinds of stories where to characters are going for the MC. Especially when they dont talk about it with each other cause in the end one of them is going to be hurting and it always makes me feel sadder. I wish I could find a story that there is only one love interest but the only ones I find are slop ones or Ntr which I hate.
