Alright so after larping this Manga 3 weeks ago because I stumble upon this on insta got curious and started reading, and after reading all the chapters then all of the comments on the locked thread of Chapter 31 (God it's a mess). Allow me to give my opinion.
First everyone is at fault, all are involved in this mess one way or another, whether intentionally or not, whether they unknowingly or knowingly started first or not and whether who's who more worse or not.
Reina - as everyone pointed out, has a clear personality and insecurity issues resulting in making a really disastrous choice in her first relationship, sure she is young, it's her first relationship and yes she got many bad influence around her that results to this mess, but it doesn't excuse her for making that decision even for a "fleeting moment of curiosity/weakness/confusion", she's an adult in college with a adult mind, so this a lesson and consequence she should received.
Yuuta - No, as much as majority of people siding with MC (as we can see on chapter 31 Thread), he is not in the clear, yes, majority of the people stated factually that he did try to make his girlfriend secure, he told his GF clearly what's his feelings for his CF (Ayaka), and how he try to communicate with GF, and in MC POV he did not cheat emotionally and physically which is commendable for me, yes. BUT this is where I started having bias opinion here (you can beg to differ/disagree, I do not mind, but I would like to discuss if I wanted to). As some other people pointed out in the chapter 31 thread, that if their partner has a opposite gender best friend, they would not sit right with it. I agree as a guy myself looking at a girl's perspective I imagine that if my Girl had a guy best friend which is unreasonably close and confides their problem somewhat blurs the line, and to add they have history they can chat what they had that would let me feel left out, I would of course be concerned and feel insecured, I would voice out my concern but not many people do so in that situation, which is understandable but not excusable for desiring having the same situation with your partner. And seeing how MC is already in a relationship but still does not know how to keep distance from himself with his CF since he's on a relationship like he still spends time with CF and confide his problems to CF, add to the fact that Ayaka also has coveting intentions towards MC, doesn't really help with GF's pschye in that circumstance back then, again this is not a excuse for Reina's actions, I personally do not blame MC for this he is dense and clueless (courtesy to the author), it's his first relationship and unintentional unknowning mistakes WOULD happen, but mistakes is still a mistake, and I'm pointing out that this is a blaming factor that leads to a snowball effect, even if he doesn't know and doesn't have intention to contribute, it led Reina into a dumb conclusion and thinking thanks to Natsuki and Cuckolder and snowballed into a consequential end to their relationship.
Natsuki - Guys and Gals, do not have a friend like this, more or less take advice literally from those bums😭.
Glasses guy - I honestly don't blame him, I do not respect what he did either You can't hate the player but the game, while it's seemingly dirty play, it's ultimately up to your partner to maintain boundaries, hell you can thank those people to test your partner's loyalty and intelligence, plus this ain't a NTR Doujin, if the guy did something viscous like blackmail, a girl won't literally become a brainless addict that develops a stockholm syndrome once he blackmails and 🍇s her, he'll likely be landing in jail and get poked behind bars.
Ayaka - not innocent because clearly has coveting intentions.
Now what I think what is the best thing they could do after that mess? Clear up the misunderstanding and best to own up on each other's mistakes equally and not one sided, yes even for yuuta, learn a lesson from this ordeal, forgive then move on. This would be the best outcome for them in my opinion. It doesn't matter who's more wrong in this, too much hurt and resentment inflicted on one another, even getting back together would not patch up a broken glass that got shattered.
Now, I get that this author is trying to make this story "educational" I see the vision, to let people read on how this can be a occurrence for many first and non first relationships IRL and learn through the eyes of a third persson POV, so we learn and avoid mistakes from fools, because this is not too far off, heck some other comments say there are more worse relationship end than this, I just hope the author stops gaslighting us to justify Reina's actions and cooks a decent ending to this, and not smoke it down to a heap of trash. Getting back together ending? Sure I don't mind, but make it that it's not all sunshine and rainbows and they have to work on their issues and forgive, especially Reina.
Forgive, moving on and stay on good terms ending, that's the best outcome I would like to see but it's author's story to write not mine, and also have consequences on every single one of the people that contribute to this whole mess, especially Natsuki. Now I'm done giving my take.
