She has mundane worries that are important to her and feels like a real person. And they both seem nice.

Eh, the girl didn't know what she wanted to do. I took it as an opportunity for her to try it out herself since she didn't have any particular goals to begin with.

Yeah, I don't think it's gross or anything, or really even imposing. In fact, if you look at it in terms of "him racking his brain to offer the only way to help he can think of" it's kind of sweet. I still think I would've preferred it if she came up with the idea for whatever reason and came to him for help, though, because then it would've been a bit more clear that this was more about her than his previous oshi.

It was just jarring and a bit of a disappointment to go from natural-feeling interactions that implied a more grounded and healthy basis for a romantic relationship to "madam, let's get you fitted for a pedestal post-haste!"

Yeah, that's a fair assessment. I did think thr pacing was a bit too fast for that just to have a catchy ending.

I am so confused. Can someone summarise what the hell happened in this chapter? What does he mean by his channel even though it's his Oshi's channel and why is he afraid of getting doxxed? I brain cannot connect the dots.

MC is one of those clipper channel who mainly watch livestreams and clips thing they find funny/interesting of their oshi(idol), i assume most clippers dont like being doxxed/exposed because they dont want the world to know that theyre simping real hard for someone who they dont even know irl hahaha
