Tadakoro got a cool part in the present, by acknowledging that his friends were the ones who did cool stuff and not feeling a need to embellish his part in the events. Talking up your friends without needing to talk yourself up too is cool all on its own.

I disagree with Odajima there. Tadakoro did get a cool part. He’s basically the “glue” that brought the 3 together. They are friends now because he didn’t stop pestering these two! XD
That’s legit a very important role in a group.
