Wtf? Nene saying kisses between girls don't count is weird knowing the spoiler details I read in the comments of previous chaps.

If I had to guess the reason she say that is to make Kano believe she isnt aware.

Either she's truly oblivious or she's hedging her bets by playing dumb until Kano outright admits that she's into her.

Wild guess, but the way Nene is framed in page 11 makes it look like she's possibly feeling guilty.
Maybe Nene thinks that she's the manipulator in this scenario because the whole thing about liking the president was still a lie to try to get Kano jealous, but she doesn't actually realize that Kano likes her back and genuinely feels bad about taking Kano's first kiss (like she's thinking, "Wow, she'd go so far for her friend? What a saint."). So she says the line about it not counting as trying to console Kano who she still somehow thinks is straight/not into her.

It's honestly a theory that's just the right level of stupidity for me that I kind of love it.

If kissing doesn't count between girls then maybe she can stretch that to groping doesn't count or maybe even f*cking doesn't count. Then she can go that favoured route of making it so good she's addicted whether it counts or not.
