Idk who the mangakas are so I'm not gonna fan boy over them. An unbiased review of chapter one is that it's pretty alright. I could definitely see this concept being run right into the ground 3 chapters in though. There's only so much sad or pitiful story telling I can take and when you get to the point of stuff like the jahy the story is just unbearable. Jahy does the down trodden character stuff really bad, almost never throwing her a bone but devil is a part timer does it way better so I hope this manga will turn out where she actively improves her life instead of the universe just dunking and shitting on her every panel

Even though Akasaka is a co-author, he always manages to surprise me with what he's willing to and capable of writing. I may not be the biggest admirer of Akasaka's works, but there's no denying he doesn't tether himself to a particular style or genre. I can respect that. Besides, so far I find this enjoyable; it's in full color and the dialogue is pretty funny and on point.
