to be fair he's a director who essentially does the (cushy) grunt work of going places and tasting foods for new flavors to the point where the new hires haven't even seen him once. like Megumi (gf lady) is the vice director but seems to do like 90% of the "directing", a good amount of time seems to have past since the first chapter, this is the first time he appears, that's not really director like hours
