I know it's kinda late to admit this, but Eizoken (the manga world) itself is pretty fantasy-filled huh. I won't even play tsukkomi with the student council and tanks... or the fact that kanamori sent some sort of sedative to what is practically the cervical section of a student's spine

Kanamori was fighting by using a shotgun, opening fire on a wide range, all her shots hitting several people but none where anywhere near the neck of any of the student's, the hit effect of the students with the afro and the blow dart may look like she was hit on the neck, but it is more likelly that the shot got her on the right shoulder, since all the shots come from the front, since everyone else got hit in the face and frontal body

And then she was taken out by the EMP from the HPM weapon the student council fired, which has some very interesting implications why would a microwave attack meant to disable electronics take down Kanamori?

Alternatively maybe she was caught on the explosion from the BM that Roboken launched, which hell, talk about dangerous, blowing up a vehicle with a missile... that's several steps above rubber bullets, then again they were facing a tank and several armored vehicles

I'm probably not the only one who thought the chapter felt out of place. Eizouken in this volume (and the last, where they simply captured sakurada and that's been resolved), has not done anything to warrant such a raid. Esp with the council president citing it as "inviting outsiders and threatening school autonomy"

My theory is that

this raid was supposed to take place in mid volume 8 where eizouken DID do the things the president accused them of (due to the content of their anime) but the author needed a theme of adults vs united children for vol 8 so it wouldn't fit if the raid had half the clubs + stuco attack eizouken

Rather than completely scrap the idea, author decided to jam it here instead so that at least he could draw it.

Damn Eizouken drawing attention to the school. If only there was a very subtle and indiscreet way to deal with them that would NOT draw any outside attention to the school... I've got it.

i assumed the emp did nothing significant other than cutting the power and kanamori was taken out by the missile instead, which is, yeah, dangerous, but very amusing

Even if it's rubber bullets and paint, ppl can easily lose an eye or get permanent damage

Stuco using a weapon that fires fuckin microwaves is dangerous. It merely burned off paint this time but that shit literally cooks people alive if given enough time

Not to mention u got students using rpgs and molokovs
