Considering how things were run up until now, and that the students have tanks and ballistic missiles, it's more like the faculties realizing they were never in charge to begin with.

Vol 7 raid makes more sense here (teachers telling stuco to stop eizouken by force, president saying eixoukrn has brought outsiders the interviewers and affected school autonomy cuz sponsors complained to principal) but then the whole children vs adult theme would be shattered if the children split into factions. So I think the author moved it from vol8 to vol 7 which is why it felt out of place last volume

Even here it's kind of jarring right? Stuco president and all the club's supporting eizouken here when a few chapters ago they were willing to burn down the building with a microwave and a bunch of clubs willing to help out to secure better funding. Quite a 180 turn with not really any reason why
