Ok i gotta ask now, what exactly is a Ku-Gou weapon?

Asakusa has called a HPM a Ku-Gou weapon, an artillery cannon a Ku-Gou weapon, and a machine gun also a Ku-Gou weapon, so far the only thing linking them is that they are all supported and mounted on a vehicle, but...

The HPM was on an armored truck, the cannon was on a train, and the machine gun was on a plane, so the vehicle's are all different too!

What!? their school has an aviation club with planes?!

Oh shit Doumeki you are in deep shit now!

What!? their school has a submarine?!!!!

Fuck it where's the underground research club with a giant tunnel drilling boring machine, and the space club with actual spaceships?

Looking it up, it seems like it could be a reference to a project the IJA had to create a microwave weapon. Most of the stuff that talks about it usually spell it as "ku-go" though, so it could be something else entirely for all i know.

Yeah here's the thing, a microwave weapon or HPM and a stationary gun/cannon turret, are both very, veery different things

Yet as both of you are pointing out, Asakusa has called both of these things a Ku-go weapon

Maybe it's an encompassing term to describe big weapons mounted on vehicles not originally meant to have them?
