i think the shift of focus from akitaka to kiba would throw people off, especially considering the gravity of chapter 5's revelation and how to deal with his crime now that we know what actually set it off.
seeing the bad guy getting punished for what they did should've been the satisfactory ending, but here a sense of dread lingers cos of how tragic everything was and it's all too little too late.
aside from akitaka who already served 15 years for a crime he didn't do, would any jail sentence ever be adequate for the loss of an innocent child's life? and even though kiba's finally in jail, the root cause of all this problem, his dad, might've evaded punishment yet again.
