Technically foxes can eat both meat and plants

Fruits, vegetables, nuts, leftovers of human meals, maybe worms, bugs, or even carrion - animals that are already long dead and useless to carnivores.
Someone told me foxes prefer rotten meat as if it was easier to digest, but I don't see any sources which would confirm that. They do stash carcasses here and there for later, though.

I mean, she might be eating all the forest animals that haven't declared their love for her - she was about to eat love bunny before they did. (But yes, foxes are omnivores.)
