IDK why they don't just make these characters adults to begin with. Some kind of weird "adult with the mind of a child" pandering? I only know of Raphtalia being another example of this.

How old is she anyway? Just because she started out small and sickly, doesn't mean she wasn't already 18, or 100 or even older.
She does seem childish at times, but so does the "hero", so that proves nothing.

When I just started watching anime, I saw tail as an erogenous zone in Utawarerumono. It was very memorable.
I suspect it's equally memorable to anybody else who watched it, which is why tails are now forever an erogenous zone.
