So we see in this chapter how the situation negatively affects Kasane. She tries to cover it up with her bubbly otaku act but she can't cover everything.

Yes, and that's partly Meguru's fault, even if I can't blame her. She really pushed for the "sister" relationship initially. They do need to talk, but I don't think Kasane will be the one to bring it up, since she thinks being the "sister" is as close to Meg as Meg wants. She also assumes (understandably) that any affection she gets from Meg is based on her being a stand-in for the older sister. Meguru will have to let her know that things have changed. She's kind of quietly transitioning into a normal relationship, without saying it directly to Kasane.
