If I recall correctly from chapter 91, when Rika enrolled to high school she was contacting with her father up to that point from elementary school when they divorced, when they talked about it and Rika felt like a "she feels uncomfortable, like a burden to her dad" and is she going there because Ritsu is telling her to go, then she told her he is getting married so she said "she doesn't have to go see him anymore" (jelly ol' bat).

So she cut ties with her father because Ritsu told her so, as a controlling bitch she is.
