I missed this my first read but... Is Nobimaru another survivor of the Ishimori clan? That would explain his hatred for Inari. Not only that but his power is similar to Kon's (making things explode). They have similar hair colors too, although his fox form makes me question this a bit, we haven't seen much of it though. I think it's be cool if he was one of her older brothers, but I have my doubts (he just seems uncharacteristically mean to her to be a big brother, however I get the circumstances that would lead to one acting like he does. Still, based on how all the other siblings act in this series I don't think it's true).
