Really? The chapter where things are finally starting to happen is when it gets dropped?

Also three years on this series for less than forty issues? Guess they were shorthanded.

I hate the demon characters, I just wish they would be wiped out already

@Kayriel Is that a joke or are you bad at maths? It's a monthly series, of course there'd be less than 40 chapters in 3 years. There's only 12 months in a year.

Thanks for the release!
It would be nice if the dude objecting at the end was doing so out of concern because they're children, and shouldn't have to shoulder the burden and responsibility; instead of, for the more likely reason of thinking because they're children, they're incapable of the task, and all the rumors about them are simply hyperbole. It'd be interesting to see an adult rationalizing the situation, as a responsible adult would do, rather than for a more trope-like reason, like being smug.

Shame the series is being dropped. Another one placed in limbo from lack of a group to do it. Thanks for all the work these last three years! Best of luck on whatever you guys go on to do.

@introvertedchild - Apparently math is hard these days. I blame whatever this silly common core shit is. lol

@Aran1 He might not mean anything bad by it. He could simply not want to send children to the front lines. A position from someone who still thinks they have other options.

@Merilirem as a normal ish person i and most people would agree with that statement. but hes a manga character and things have been going too smoothly so its just about time for some drama to spice things up. its much more common for characters in situations like this to be set up as some mini antagonist. kinda like that priest during the last meeting that was turned / partially turned into a demon.

it would certainly be a nice change if in the next chapter he went on about how they were just kids and this is bs that they, a bunch of adults representing nations filled with professional adult soldiers, are going to tell/force/let some kids go save the world while they sit back and be basically useless.

Just leave him to their devices when they get attacked by demons but be on standby just in case of the worst case scenario. No better way to convice him til disaster blows up in his own face

@Aran1 a farmer that produces food, the team that transport food and water, and other supporting roles are usually more important that the military forces, specially on a long war, ww1 for example, without food and other supplies any side could have been wiped out, on the case of the military of this manga border surveillance, safe bases to move civilians and distribution of resources is a big deal.

iF the demons attack on multiple places at the same time the military must be ready to evacuate the civilians and hold the demons until the ultimate magicians came to rescue, it's not "sitting and doing nothing", the military role is much bigger that just fighting on the front lines, knowing were the enemy will attack or is attacking can save more lives that just sitting and doing nothing while waiting for shin

@introvertchild

Didn't realize I'd be visited by someone who decided to offend and insult first.

I either didn't remember or realize that this was a monthly series, which should have been the first inclination of someone with a fully-functioning brain. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, that leaves with naught else to believe other than you specifically came here to find trouble.

First, thanks for all your work scanning and translating this series.

Second, I want to get more details on the human plan. We've just learned that the demons' emperor/boss is not interested in expansion or aggression at all. Is the real final boss not Strom, but Zest? I could totally see Zest going off the deep-end and Strom and Shin having to team up to take him out.
