Thank you for the translations!
GOD the blob of bodies in the darkness gave me chills. Very fun work around for the blanket and fan situation.

I can see reviews being critical of the topic but audiences here seemed to resonate with it. They can recognise and remember similar feelings from covid times, whereas reviews might be critical of mentioning it at all.

It is interesting how this series took covid and make it a full plot point in the story. It used the event to consider what impact it would have on Kanade since it hit the arts very hard.

Now that I finally caught up I can say it, I've been very displeased with the new scanlation, especially considering the old one was so good.
This chapter was good, but most others are riddled with typos, character name misspellings (often with 2 or 3 different spellings in the same page), confusions in tense and in who's speaking, missing pages, etc. There's even a missing chapter.
It doesn't exactly make me want to treat them to a pizza.

I don't doubt that this is a difficult series to translate, with the full-length chapters and all the technical jargon.

However, I wouldn't think spellchecking and keeping names consistent is part of that. Like, when I was a fan translator (unpaid), we had a master list of names and terms and how we translated them for consistency.
