The way the protag blames himself for everything he can't even control, and goes all Super-Emo over, isn't cringe enough?Setting aside the cringey way numerous parts were translated, I highly appreciate the new chapter release!
Many thank~
The way "This is not a thank as a guild staff" and "not in the mood to receive his thank" totally added to the cringe and cancelled the guild staff's red-pill moment. Yes, somehow it made things even cringier. The way the protag blames himself for everything he can't even control, and goes all Super-Emo over, isn't cringe enough?
jusdt leaving it there gonna bring a lot of problem tho, as someone who work in armory and high skilled adventurer her weapon must be top tier, imagine some random gob take it and use against the other adventurer(goblin slayer remind me of this)It bugged me a bit that Aria’s weapon magically returned to her back between page 17 and 18, which implied in between the two pages Kikori went to grab it and have Aria equipped it back before he brought her back to town, all this while in urgent need for her to have medical attention.
Or it’s just a video game logic, which I also get. The structure of Kikori’s adventure so far is kind of videogame-like after all.
Oh I agree with you. I was just thinking how cutscene breaking the action of picking it up.jusdt leaving it there gonna bring a lot of problem tho, as someone who work in armory and high skilled adventurer her weapon must be top tier, imagine some random gob take it and use against the other adventurer(goblin slayer remind me of this)
You'd be the same in her position. It's a coping/self-preservation strategy. Didn't the first chapters give you a hint? She didn't even tell Kikori her name because chances are his first trip beyond the wall would already kill him. If you are a normal person, like she is, you don't want to get familiar with people you send to death. Her very job is to keep track of and give tasks to people who most likely will die within the next few years. The more you know about them and their personal life, the more you will care about them. You absolutely don't want that. So, remain cordial and business-like with them. Don't hang out with them, don't have regular lengthy discussions with them. Because one day soon they won't be there anymore. You don't want to live missing them and carry a load of regrets. That receptionist isn't any kind of -dere, she's just a dick. I don't get the sense she was trying to shock him back to normalcy, she just actively is that way. And it sucks
