This MC is an actual piece of crap. Not just his past, but the current him. He wants to take no responsibility and feels victimized because he can't remember. Actual garbage human, so at least that appears to have remained consistent.

At the same time the only way people can turn out this way is through failures of parenting.

So not actually important really but how can he have a hole that large in the spot where it is and still have a functioning hand that can like move his fingers and stuff. Like, legitimate question for anyone who has any medical knowledge cause currently assuming it just can't work like that, in a ya obviously kind of way.
