Memes are ok but should not cross the line into changing the meaning or adding new dialogue. Most TL will add a meme if they want too on the last additional credits page. Some will add it in the TL note below the panel or page. If you wanna do something, do it right.

don't need to be incredibly good at something to have passion for it, and the translation was very understandable lol, might need to get your eyes checked.

I always enjoy the memes TL's put in - Whether it's keeping the original text in the bubble then adding a TL note, or reversing that and putting the meme in the bubble and having a TL note for the actual text.
I generally don't mind as long as it's, like someone else said, not something obscure that would require a note to explain, but the notes are always a nice little treat to see lol
