I sincerely doubt that what she is trying to tell people that it is "le bad and le crazy" to be happy about having a boyfriend or anything of the sort
Kanae very clearly has some issues, and believes that Hiroshi will save her because he is perfect and can do no wrong ever, and though selling yourself for validation is definitely not a good thing to do, it seems to me that her life has gone from being shitty and bad all the time BUT relatively """stable""" to being more volatile, which arguably could lead to worse things in the long run (remember how the manga started)

anyway, thanks a bunch to the TLs for the chapter, though do consider refraining from discussing the author's posts in your notes in case they could be possible spoilers - that is a big reason why I do not check her posts despite being a big fan of her work

While seemingly true, the "words of wisdom" he said, were only there to lower her guard and get her to bed ASAP.

While true that she hides her true self from only one person who's in juvenile now and her "boyfriend" only has tiny pieces of her past, unloading everything ain't fair to anyone without medical degree, this ain't something one can handle without taking a toll.

I stumbled upon this yesterday and barely slept reading it up to the current chapter.
And in an ironic twist, I think our ojisan here got closer than anyone else to "accurately" define the heart of Kanae's troubles.

I wouldn't put any spoilers in the afterword (the art with Kanae, Hiroshi, and that lady isn't canon, just a crossover between KimiIta and one of her doujins). I'm just letting people know the type of things Shiruka posts. As far as I've seen, she's only posted sketches or finished versions of unimportant panels/moments in the story. Still, some people (and me) like to see sneak peeks so I figured I'd let people know it was there.

I figured it was jut a crossover or "easter egg" from her doujinshis. The lady showing off her body is a main protag in one of her hentaii doujinshis.

i haven't caught up but i imagine she'd simply still stay as a shut in as opposed to her being sent to therapy or maybe offing herself (unless the mom is a stay at home housewife that can keep an eye on her) but I imagine considering her 'friends' don't care they wouldn't bring her back into the story again. tho i wonder if the author will end up circling around to "Hiroshi stabs her" if not changing how it ends up assuming they didn't forget about the first chapter setup
