So, he DOESN'T want to die but what does he thinks will happen IF she eats him? The logic isn't logicing (that is NOT a word but it doesn't make sense either). But them's the breaks when Mr. Gutter Brain is doing ALL the thinking. There's no blood left for Mr. Normal Brain to do the thing it's supposed to ... try to keep you alive.

I'm just waiting to see HOW the author does this. What twist will they come up with to get out of this corner they've painted themselves into? I'm going to make some popcorn.

I’m mad at how little sense this is all making, author could have milked a really nice SoL out of this premise. Rushed conclusion due to editor pressure probably?
