Wait, so is the emperor a boy or a girl? The emperor has pigtails here, but I don't remember there being pigtails in any of the emperor's other appearances? I may have to reread this whole thing again...

So, I was just following the decision of the previous scanlators and used she/her pronouns... But now I've just gone to the Japanese wiki page to properly look this up and it says, "...looks like a girl, but is a boy."

The scanlators made this decision because Kuzushiro said something along the lines of, "In God's eyes, gender is trivial." when asked the same question.

Due to what I just read in the Japanese wiki, I'll probably phase out the she/her pronouns and stick to using respectful royal terms like "my lord," unless the manga more directly informs me otherwise.
