I know they're going to spin this as if it's some amazing insight but... it's not. Its dumb.
i dont think thats it, between her introduction and the final panel i think the issue is the girl wants to become someone specific while an actors role is to become whoever they're playing, for her shes only solely interested specifically in being a princess

Thank you so much for the translation!
This chapter was a bit light on the dynamic between Sakura and Hiigari but you can feel it growling in the background constantly. I don't know when, where or how shit will hit the fan. But I know it will be messy.

I still can't believe this is the first work by both this author and artist. It feels so tightly plotted and the art is loose but controlled in a way that matches the characters and story perfectly.
If you still haven't ordered your copies from cd-japan please do so, we could still be in time to save this manga from the dreaded axe.
And if you can't read Japanese like me, at least they look good on the shelf!

Yes more of this, I really hope it doesn't get axed it feels like passion is just constantly bursting out of the pages the characters are just all so good.

To be fair, she had one line and she fucked it up about as maximally as one can.

Yeah, it's sort of annoying how the story keeps pulling this "I know everything about you after one meeting" thing. And the way it treats acting (and script writing, for that matter) as though it's some magical thing you're either born with or not, rather than a skill anyone can attain with enough practice, just like any other skill.

A lot of other yuri manga tends to go with the moral that other people don't have the right to tell someone how to live or what they want to do with their life, but this one seems to be going with the complete opposite message.

I'm hoping Kuze will be told off but I think you're right in your implication that she'll be treated completely correct and this new girl will learn a lesson about needing to pursue some other skill (that the story will probably treat her as being naturally talented at).
