Recoil from the KabedonThanks for the chapter
You suffering a stroke?
Retesting him means they have to make a whole new test which is a lot of effort. Easier to just assume he cheated, especially with his reputation.I wish it were believable that some teacher would step forward to say "Simple enough, let's re-test him to see how he does"… but people have a hard time seeing anything but what they expect to see (let alone if they want to see it).
Mamori's correct though that it doesn't fit Kei's character, so she's also right in trying to get to the bottom of this, even is he's also right that Mamori is being naive.Even if she didn’t want to, even if she set him up against her will, she went through with it. Mamori is in the wrong here. Kei betrayed them. In the end, she was ‘like that’. For better or worse.
If anything, it looks like brother is becoming even more irredeemable. And Kei was since her introduction in the manga the type of character to join the main cast, not to become the antagonist, so I don't know what you've expected. Can we not redeem someone this time? Just let the bitch suffer?
He stands to lose a lot from a single defeatPetty little brother, can't even accept a single "defeat".
Please don't make me do that 😭Fuck MC brother

Indeed. It makes it more human and believable when people make mistakes (if seen from an outside perspective, vs someone who's "in the moment") out of habit… and one of this series' strongest suits is "human and believable", versus "slavishly follows all the standard tropes because manga publishers are getting more and more like Copywood".Also, I love that Mamori's default move is to grab her villain boss and run away. He's right though, she should grab him better, likeprincessboss carry.
