I told people there reason why she didn't feel betrayed had nothing to do with the blackmail because she didn't knew about it in the first place, and yet, boy did they insisted on it, as if Wataya somehow wasn't canonically dumb"It's not betrayal if it's what you wanted to do" is a real sideways take that I find really interesting. Sometimes the right thing is wrong for others, sometimes the wrong thing is perfect for you. Check out the big [brains] on Wataya!
Aye i aint gonna act like this is the best work of writing your ever gonna find, but i do appreciate that the characters are all pretty true to their values and desires, regardless of how they may be viewed as "right or wrong". Still not the biggest fan of Kei but she made her choices and Mamori made hers. They can bury the hatchet and move on. Plus its not like Kei did it with malice and Mamori finally has a friend, theres always gonna be bumps in those relationships. Plus they all can kind of unite behind the common enemy of how big a fucking cock swab the little brother isWataya is kind of silly, gloomy, shy, and not very book smart. All that stuff kind of holds her back in her interaction with others. Still, I feel like she consistently demonstrates an emotional maturity both in how she approaches things and what she values (not suggesting she's acting like an adult or anything).
The thing she's valuing in this moment the most is that her new friend doesn't walk out of her life for doing something which is both not really that big a deal in the grand scheme of things (test scores amirite?) and that Kei didn't want to do in the first place.
