I know it's not the point of the story, but I can't get over them using neoteny like this (and on almost every page)... Neoteny has been one of the key traits of humans for thousands of years, it's not some far-flung future development. I get that they're going for some kind of 'extreme neoteny' but it just sounds really annoying...

Super happy this got picked up! I actually think it’s following in the footsteps of the classic Shojo sci-fi queen Moto Hagio who wrote a lot of sci-fi Shojo manga throughout her career from the 1970s to the modern era.
