I sincerely hope that the mangaka has more planned for Riboku than simply invoking Houken and teleporting armies. (And yes, I know, previous time they ran through the woods, but that explanation doesn't work with most of his shenanigans.)

I want the manga to skip Shin's fight with Houken (I mean, didn't that "War God" already fight an extremely tired and injured Shin and pretty much lost? What's new there to see?) and go straight to my man Batei "wrestling" with that big woman while her boyfriend impotently watches. Also, Kaine feels almost useless but she is cute so it's fine.

Houken is like a deus ex machina whenever something goes good for Qin. I can't even sum it up like "I'm fed up with him", it's a stronger feeling.
Can he just disappear and never come back again? Please?

Idgaf about houken, he’s just an overused plot device that needs to go

Kyoukai though I’ll never get tired of.

I share the pain everyone is feeling about that character he really is just a tool to draw out the plot. But in the other hand, we're finally seeing some support characters die off. I mean really, this is a war manga so some people have to die off even if we don't want it. Oh this is just my take on Riboku, but I believe he's just to big of a "fish" for anyone to kill him. His death carries a huge amount of credit that no one will be able to kill him off personally. No matter how much we may wish it, I don't believe Shin will ever kill him.
