Looking back, I think we had a time where emo and gothic style were a hit.
Japanese people also have Gyaru culture, although now they are becoming more inclined to natural beauty. A moefication.
Based on the first chapter, the mc went straight past the first parapet. Reality is hard because people apply the norm.
This will show more people's perspective, I think.

this has been really touching so far! I read the first two volumes today.

I was gonna suggest adding fashion as a tag but I'm surprised to see that there ain't no tag like that! that and coming of age.

I've never cried so much from a series. Like seriously super relatable. Trying to discover your true self while piecing it all together as you grow up. It was truly a wonderful read.
