Usually Anne's melodrama about humans killing each other falls flat for me, but I thought this chapter was really good. What made it work was the androids being presented as gods descending to earth and accepting their help as a test whether to relinquish decisions on life and death to autonomous systems.
As always, thank you for the work making this chapter available. Knight Run is text-heavy and a long-running but not necessarily very popular series, so I'm grateful someone takes the effort to produce regular translations.
