Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon - Ch. 193 - Kanna and Mensealer Saikawa (Second Half)

I think there's a misunderstanding here about what happened in the end. Excepting Tohru and some ancient dragons, everyone in Chaos Faction instinctively respect and fear the very presence of The Emperor of Demise, and that includes Kanna. The fact that he showed up uninvited basically sent Kanna the message that she shouldn't go forward with the confession, and this combined with her own mental state led her to chicken out.

Or it's just father-in-law helping in the family shenanigans...

I feel like you're stretching the context pretty hard. My read was that Kanna is so loved that dragons of all 4 factions came together to help her out.

what was the fucking point then???

Cop-out of a chapter. Really disappointing.

Tohru can you like not be kids first awakening for five seconds?

Yeah! That's Lewdcoa's job, and the only one she has.

I did actually find the cop-out kind of funny, even if it did stall relationship progress between Kanna and Saikawa. I personally wonder if the reason it didn't happen here is because of Kanna's own spin off manga, perhaps Cool decided it would be better to have it happen in there?

[lectorhip]

is that loli emma?

Tight... very tight and lacking in fabric... Here's hoping more opportunities for evil executive Tohru cosplay will present themselves.
