Incidentally the joke about stargazers looking to the sky and falling down a hole in the road is more than two thousand years old (literally - Plato told it about Thales of Miletus in his Theaetetus, written circa 369 BCE)
(The jokes even commonly include a tsukkomi about how the stargazer should pay attention to the earth/road ahead)
