It's really uneven, and I was getting bored after the first half of the chapter, but Super Hot Hag gave me a smile and I laughed my ass off through the bath scene once the head-shake happened. It has wheels, the author just needs to cut the expository crap down by about 80%.

To be a bit clearer on what quagmire means: it means something like a swamp/bog. That definition being used sort of metaphorically to mean something that's hard to "traverse" (like a swamp is) is what gives it its second definition.
