I'm guessing the previous uploader (oddinary) got banned and purged because in his last uploads he basically paywall threatened the rest of the series ("I'm working on the rest of the series and will upload it in a month/month-and-a-half, but I will take longer if I don't get more money" sort of thing.)

EDIT: And judging by the fact that he posted here and the sudden rush of chapters to exactly fill the hole vacated by his deletion, it almost makes me think that these are him registering a new account (FurryPaw) and re-uploading his previous chapters, these chapters might not survive either.

It's so dumb for old, perfectly fine chapters to be deleted the moment someone goes rogue.
But I suppose as a rule a blanket ban is easier than going through every single upload scanning for infractions , it'd take a janny forever depending on the group.

It's so dumb for old, perfectly fine chapters to be deleted the moment someone goes rogue.
But I suppose as a rule a blanket ban is easier than going through every single upload scanning for infractions , it'd take a janny forever depending on the group.

It's as a deterrent against groups breaking the rules, especially the ones that tend to lead to insta-bans like paywalling or trying to drive people off-site. If they don't get rid of their chapters, then that group's footprint remains and they still potentially get what they want, which is advertising for people to give them money or go read on their website instead of MD. If a punishment or sanction is to be effective, it has to have teeth.

Never realized that’s what happened to Kireicake. Shame, read a ton of his chapters. Hope the dude’s mom is okay…

I remember reading darwins game and another TL group posted the rest of the chapter (until the final chapter). few days later, it got deleted but then re-released by kireicake. Iirc they only post one or two chapter while they did not pick the rest. I remember people angry and pissed because someone deliberately delete the rest of the chapter
