No, you're right, it is a horrible style outside of x.5 chapters that are just extras between actual comic chaptersThis recent trend of having a single illustration with a single small speech bubble and calling it a chapter (or even a comic) is beginning to get annoying.
I didn't mind it when it was fresh way of doing a comic page, but it's already gotten stale and overdone at this point, and just comes across as the artist not wanting to make an actual comic page, or even wait until a few more pages are done and blowing their load too quickly. The most annoying thing is YOU CAN actually say a lot with a single image comic, that's been done since the beginning of comics, but these are not as well planned out as those.
I'm not attacking the plot, because I don't know what the plot is outside of the title. The illustrations are nice, but these pages just leave me wanting (and not in the "excited to find out what's next" kind of way).
And most of them are fanbox bait. This recent trend of having a single illustration with a single small speech bubble and calling it a chapter (or even a comic) is beginning to get annoying.

i won't be surprised if these kinds of "chapter" get their own tag. This recent trend of having a single illustration with a single small speech bubble and calling it a chapter (or even a comic) is beginning to get annoying.

Yes definitelyWill this have romance?
I won't deny the possibility, but I also don't want to think about the massive undertaking it would be to make sure every applicable series from the past is tagged properly.i won't be surprised if these kinds of "chapter" get their own tag.
That makes a lot of sense. How do you "listen like crazy" anywayThe last couple lines have subject and object flipped. She asks if he wants to talk (and her listen).
I am guessing that is like Onlyfans but with the focus on artists and their "special" artwork? And most of them are fanbox bait.
Who needs story when you have plot.where story?
