I bet their actual plan will be to fully kill the demon god or something and every member, especially the edge-lord, has a deep and tragic backstory of why they are now seemingly "evil". Then the demon god revives completely and through the power of FRIENDSHIP WORDS the MC kills it for good. Yeah... I think that is 70% what will happen.

Also I am quite surprised that the demon god didn't have a more edgier name.

Thanks for the chapter. I remember reading the novel for this like, several years ago, but here we are still. I'm gonna be honest I lowkey don't give a shit anymore. That might be why I particularly don't care when the entire chapter is just... exposition. Like, seriously, this chapter was just characters sitting together and talking. NOTHING happened. Information was revealed, sure, and maybe this isn't as cumbersome in text form, but this chapter felt like a complete nothingburger complete with a side of meaningless reactions.

It's so funny the current demon lord's own underlings continue to keep her in the dark about critical information, while the previous demon lord turned rogue, Avoros, knows every secret the demon country ever possessed. I suppose that means Aquinas and others don't genuinely consider Eveam to be worthy.

She says she heard the story of the first demon lord from her mother, so no. They are part of the same clan though, so could be a grand daughter or niece or something. While she's very old, the chapter seems to be implying she is too young to have known the first demon lord directly and setting up Aquinas to be old as hell.

Are you sure it's demon god, and not evil/devil god? It might be good to separate both, as we already got the whole demon tribe and no real relation between both (the exception being the kupiedeus clan of this chapter).
