Ah we really did get an entire volume dedicated to Ichiei, and yes I grew to like them. I believe I said something like "Poor Miran needs the power of friendship more than cutthroat competition -> The power of friendship prevailed!" It was a good volume of getting to know people better, which this manga is so good at doing.
