When she suddenly started asking him things about Mizuki, I was worried she'd turn out to be another yandere - though not for him, but for Mizuki. I'm glad it turned out she's actually quite innocent. Though being scared enough of going to a parent-child-meeting that she'd ask a student who knows Mizuki to accompany her is reaching quite a bit. I'd be less confused if she was still new and extremely inexperienced as a teacher - and even then it'd be unprofessional, but those are things we can turn a blind eye to for the sake of a story. But she was not introduced that way... I wonder if she'll turn out to be the archetype who is secretly extremely clumsy and lacks confidence? You don't notice it in your normal day-to-day student teacher interactions, but the more you spend more time with her outside of that, you start noticing all the ways she screws up when most people aren't looking. Could be the case here.
Damn, I so wish there was a chance sensei could win... But if the MC ends up with anyone at all, it'll be Mizuki. I'd be surprised if it wasn't.
Edit: Can't believe I was right about her archetype after reading the next two chapters.
