that reminds me of growing up in the late 60's early 70's. There were a lot of kids on the same block around the same age. we all walked to school together. played in the fields and woods, snow. Many houses had a pool so that was a thing. Sometimes we would gather at someone's house after breakfast and watch cartoons before school. Parents never knew exactly where we were, but I was told the neighbors would always keep an eye out for us.

Ah, makes me yearn for a snow day again, reminds me of one day of High School, when a guy was trying to be a show off with something, but we noticed that it was snowing, and just ignored him and rushed outside to see the snow
