guess it's convenient if they have cheap single servings from konbini but depending i'd think theyd' get like six packs depending on how often they stay at each others places
ooh looks like a surprisingly decent portion, i've seen some cafe promos/anime collabs where the products look a bit skimpy on the size but i imagine most places are used to smaller portions

I've also seen a lot of these fancy fru-fru spots pop up here and there. Passed by some sort of flowershop/cafe combo thing just the other day, thought it'd be cheaper to eat the hydrangeas than eat the food. You're right though, seems like the portions for these places tend to be bird-sized but the prices are for bear. Rainforest Cafe did it first and did it better; more sensibly gorilla-priced and you could feed an elephant.

well shrink-flation aside i guess americans do tend to eat too much/don't walk everywhere in JP but i suppose for the anime merch collab specifically ppl might just order a drink just to get a keychain rather than going there for a meal unless they were a regular there before. the bento boxes look cool altho i'm sure JP 711 is high quality where you can buy a handful of good snacks at a cheap price. i'd def pick a pizza bun over a gas station hot dog lol
