"Breaking again" is a poignant allegory for Mei Zhi. She enjoys loving, but a teapot's love is fragile like porcelain.

The melodrama in this kinda irks me.
So, alright, you're having relationship issues because the clock man can't wake you up and that's his purpose in life. Cool. You also want to wake up and dunno why it isn't working? Ok.

Have you tried changing your mattress? Maybe it's the wrong type for you or whatever and it's affecting your sleep. Or better yet...
HAVE YOU TRIED SEEING A DOCTOR???
It's been multiple years of you trying to fix this and failing, so have you tried literally anything to find out the reason why it's happening?
Or better yet, have you talked with your clock-boyfriend about it? You know, to try to figure out what is going on, together?!

And that's not even counting what was going on in the previous chapters. The girl was born and over the course of her first evening of existence, she decided she was in love with the dude.
Then in her first meeting with the entire community of Kowloon, everybody gives her a bunch of stuff because they are "hoping she'll be the one to save him" AKA mend his hurt heart from his first love.
I quote: "everyone has entrusted Ryouma's happiness to you".
SHE WAS LITERALLY BORN YESTERDAY
SHE WAS A TEAPOT JUST LAST EVENING, ON YOUR STORE
COME ON

I honestly agree, even though the manga's course of action is obviously to make them realize that communication is important (or so I'd hope lmao). In terms of the manga's themes, I sort of get it, but it's true that it sounds silly in a vacuum. Fersen leaves without ever talking about it, Marie doesn't make an attempt to talk it out either, until it was "too late".

As for the aspect of Mei Zhi's romance, I think you're supposed to accept the idea that Tsukumogami are affectionate towards their owners sort of inherently. That affection is translated to romance by people around them. It's what makes people wish Mei Zhi will heal Ryouma, since it's pretty much a given that she loves him. Their gamble is whether Ryouma will love her back.
I think the whole "Tsukumogami are owned and mutual affection doesn't translate to being a couple, but we accept the role" thing to be a weird balance to try and strike, but I feel like so far it's been portrayed relatively fine as a sort of alternative, unique relationship dynamic.

Overall, your criticisms are pretty fair lmao
